services which offers both written and audio services. NPR is a subscriber.
- URC
- Uplink Remote Control A combination of hardware, software and satellite
channels used to control the operation of the satellite uplinks in the PRSS. The signal from Washington to the uplinks shares the same coordination channel but different control
frequenceies with DACS and Netcue.
Each uplink is then commanded to come up on a second coordination channel to provide
status as needed.
