This new generation codec is only capable of Mono operation. It is capable of Layer 3, Layer 2 and G.722. The operation is menu-driven, similar, but not identical, to the Prima.

NPR RoadRunners have been configured with speed dials to connect to the RC Zephyr, MC Zephyr, Prima and CDQ-2000. at 128K Layer 2 Mono. It is possible to connect with other equipment and other modes, but the quality will not be as good.
